Movies of the '70s

I'm gonna be honest, I don't remember them too well. I remember Jaws being awesome, however. That was my first time seeing it and I get why it became so popular. The director took an underrated and under recognized danger, sharks and shark attacks, and put it in a very real situation, with very real people. I think many movies reflect the decade well but others, like Jaws, are taking advantage of people's' imaginations for fame.

Television of the '70s

To be honest, I think sitcoms are pretty much the same, although the situation does technically change I think that most of them have obvious parallels and many have recycled jokes and lines. I enjoyed the comedy to a point and the sci-fi was always great, but I remember the few rural value shows were dry and hard to watch. TV shows seem to always reflect the decade, no matter how obvious it may or may not be. Americans were happy about their new rights and wanted excitement, the shows available tended to their needs quite well.
